Cheri Shone
Neurodivergence Specailist
I came to Cheri to improve my grammar and get over my hatred towards emails. I quickly found out that my grammar and hatred towards emails would very much be the tip of the iceberg.
Over the last two years Cheri has helped me understand the depth of dyslexia and the impact it can have on ones life. From having a better understanding of dyslexia and understanding how my brain works through our sessions it has allowed me to develop skills to unpick habits that have held me back throughout my life. This has been a massive help not only with my writing and emails but also my day to day life.
I can’t thank Cheri enough for the changes and development that has happened since I started working with her.

Before I met Cheri I thought of dyslexia as scrambling letters and a fear of reading out loud. I didn't feel that any of these applied to me, which in retrospect was slightly delusional. Cheri blew my mind within our first session, she offered me the understanding of why my brain felt different.
With Cheri's support I have discovered an understanding of how I process and why I feel different from others. I have developed the confidence to be myself and the vocabulary to articulate what that means. The impact that a late diagnosis or an un-supported early diagnosis has on our self-perception and mental health is huge. Cheri has supported me to reframe that and in turn to share that understanding with those that I come into contact with.
I am so glad that I invested in myself and had the discipline to push myself to attend when it became uncomfortable. Cheri is an absolute gem and when I say she is my savior I am not exaggerating. I would absolutely recommend investing in yourself through the work that Cheri does.
